Ever Feel Not Good Enough?

Ever feel not good enough?Maybe you’ve never considered that possibility, but it could be happening without you being consciously aware of it.  Not feeling good enough shows up in many disguises.  Sometimes it comes as a fear of networking or making that elevator speech.

Not feeling good enough could be the reason you have a problem with sales or charging what you’re actually worth.

When I ran my singles business, I was always worried someone would criticise the events, because I doubted they were good enough.  Do you often doubt yourself or your product or service?

Do you ever ask yourself why would someone choose your product or service if they could buy something similar from someone else?  Underneath that fear lurks Ms Not Good Enough.

Ask yourself why your Facebook profile is not connected to your page.  Do you have an issue with self promotion?  Why?  Is it because deep down, you don’t feel good enough?  Maybe.

Are you afraid to blog for fear of criticism or perhaps you don’t think you have anything worthwhile to say?  I would call that ‘not good enough’ syndrome.

Do you dress down to avoid too much attention or spend little on your appearance?  Could be you don’t feel good enough and your image reflects that.

Any of these patterns are symptomatic of the belief, ‘I’m Not Good Enough.’

Well, you might ask, what is the problem with that?

Consider the Law of Attraction for a moment.  Do you believe in it?  Really believe in it?  Or are you paying lip service to the idea?  If you believe in the LOA, then maybe you are starting to see the connection between holding a negative Core Belief and your business. A negative core belief will undoubtedly impact on the success of your business, because your experience of the world is a direct reflection of who you are and how you feel about yourself.

The bad news is that even if you don’t believe in the LOA, it operates anyway.

If you don’t feel good enough, you are not alone.  As humans we all carry this belief to a greater or lesser extent (unless you’re Richard Branson or Tony Robbins.  Lol).  It actually is part of the human condition.

But, if you are acting out any of the above patterns, it would be a good idea to start making some changes to the way you think and feel about yourself. If you are interested in more information about how this could happen for you easily and quickly, have a look around this website.

It’s time to have the Law of Attraction working with you, not against you, don’t you think?  After all, you’re worth it.

I’m a fairly new yoga teacher so doubt sometimes starts to creep into my thinking. However I read recently (I think it was during the blog challenge) that everyone has a unique style and manner even when presenting a common body of knowledge. Nobody else is just like me and nobody else can serve my community in exactly the same way I can. What a powerful way to look at things!

      Hi Maureen,

Easier said than done Maureen, because we can’t do it in our head. I have spent years getting to this place, so that is why I teach others to make the transition in 30 days. I spent 25 years listening to the gurus who came from wonderful supportive, nurturing backgrounds. They mean well (and they make a lot of money) but they don’t get it.

Hi Maddona, great blog and so true. It is also interesting to see the areas in our lives where we do feel good enough. I was thinking about my clients, and my blogs and they feel all good! Body image and confidence in myself being good enough in intimate relationship however still messes me around@! Yes, I’m aware there’s some core beliefs in there messing with my head and body!!!

    Love your stuff
    Lots of love

      Hi Vanesssa,

That is so true for so many of us. I guess that’s because the areas in which we don’t feel good enough are the parts of most earlier pain. Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated.
